MONICA ANDERSSON /
Based in Ommaby not far from Vombsjön, Monica Andersson is a practicing shaman, a long time women’s aid worker and offers her services as a Witch-on-duty. She builds her own rattles and drums from scratch during shamanic rites.

NORA BREEN /
1964-2022
Nora Breen was a true artist in every sense of the word. She was also a relentless activist, a loyal and loving companion of animals and a brave human who generously shared her joy and sincerity wherever she went.
Nora's creative impact on THE CORE has been inimitable and of the greatest value for the project and everyone involved. We cherish the work she produced with and for our core-laboration and mourn the loss of her both as a vigourosly talented collaborator and as our very dear friend.

ANNA BROSTRÖM /
Born in 1970 in Danderyd and based in Öved, Anna Broström is a paleoecologist and quarternary geologist whose research focuses on the human impact on the environment both on land and in and near water. In her research she employs fossil pollen, a model of reconstructing landscapes, carbonized seeds and other plant parts from archeological excavations. She employs this long perspective of time in her work towards the global goals for sustainable development.Over the past couple of years Anna has furthered her education in pedagogics and she now works as a teacher of natural sciences and biology. She shapes clay and during the fall of 2022 she fired her work in a traditional dragon kiln in Singapore, together with Thow Kwang Pottery Jungle Clay Artists. Since 2023 she teaches natural sciences to Swedish gymnasium students at the aesthetics program, prompting her pupils to approach the subject of depicting DNA through their own modes of expression in the form of visual arts or music.

MATS EDÉN /
Violin and accordion player and composer with his roots in the folk music from the region of Värmland.
Studied composition at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo from 1983 to 1987. Sweden's first riksspelman (or National Spelman) on one row accordion with the Zorns silver badge of mastery for Swedish folk musicians. In 2019 he received Zorn's gold badge that is reserved for one or two master musicians pre-selected by the Jury.
Among other things he plays in the folk music group Groupa that in 2021 had their 40th anniversary.
Since 2009, Mats is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music.

HELENA FILIPSSON /
Is a professor of Marine Geology and the Director of Doctoral studies in Geology at Lund University, where she also teaches. ​​In her research she focuses on past and present marine environments and their relation to climate and climate change foremost over the last 130 000 years. This research further includes the study on the interactions between land, sea, and atmosphere. The main tools of the research are marine sediments with their contents of different microorganisms combined with instrumental hydrographic time series and process-oriented modeling. This research further addresses proxy calibration and validation both through experimental and field studies, i.e. improve the tools we use to reconstruct the past.

JOSEFIN GRANQVIST /
Is an artist and filmmaker who lives in Sweden and moves between touching language and grasping towards varying temporalities and temperatures of bedrock. She takes a deep interest in the littoral, the literal and the lithified and finds great joy in the intersections of materiality and other hot matters of reality.

EMMA KIM HAGDAHL
Emma Kim Hagdahl (b.1985) was raised at Slånbäret, a commune farm in Växjö. She started dancing at the age of 8 and majored in natural sciences in high school. After that she studied dance and choreography at Laban in London, SKH in Stockholm and CCNM in Montpellier. Emma has worked with dance and choreography in different ways and shapes all over the world. Since 2020 she lives with her two children in the forest outside of Sankt Olof in Österlen where she is creating ceramics and connections, mostly in her workshop Okimo Studio.

SARA HALLSTRÖM
Sara Hallström är poet och pedagog, boendes i Göteborg. / Sara Hallström is a poet and pedagogue living in Gothenburg.

DESIREE HAMMEN /
Desirée Hammen (1976) is a visual artist, haute couture embroidery specialist, florist, dedicated gardener and art school teacher. She graduated in 2003 from the fashion department of Artez in Arnhem and gained her specialization in haute couture embroidery at the famous Ecole Lesage in Paris in 2012.
With her work Desirée investigates the beauty of imperfection. Her work has been described as poetic, chaotic, intense and playful. In her embroidery work she combines haute couture with freestyle techniques. She has had solo shows in Eindhoven, Vienna and New York and has participated in group shows in Beijing, Shanghai, Istanbul and Paris. She has given master classes at Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Textielmuseum, Het Nieuwe Instituut and at Lowlands Festival.
In her current practice she is conducting a long running research on biobased materials and applying them in textiles and embroidery.

Adrienne Herr is a poet and performer whose work expands on a dissolving split between material and immaterial.

YLVA EMEL KARLSSON /
Ylva Emel Karlsson bor i sin uppväxtstad Malmö. Hon är en aktivist, poet, översättare och musiker som lever med kronisk smärta. / Ylva Emel Karlsson resides in her birthtown Malmö. She is an akticist, poest, translöter and muchichian living with chronix plain.

REBECCA LARSSON /
Rebecca Larsson (b. 1993) lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden.

KARL LJUNG /
Born in 1976 in Vomb and based in Öved, Karl Ljung is a lecturer in Quaternary Sciences at the Geology department of Lund University. His main research interest is in Late Quaternary palaeoclimate, and particularly links between the ocean, atmosphere and biosphere. He is working with a multi-proxy approach, including pollen analysis, biomarker and isotope geochemistry, on peat and sediment sequences from a wide geographic range, including sites in Sweden and the South Atlantic.

ASTRID THORE /
Mainly works with relational and/or site specific installations, text and performance. Her works often involve the audience and emphasizes its social efforts as being a vital component of the installations.
